NYC Past Midnight

So last weekend, Kiri, Achi and I decided to go down to the city! We tried out a different route -- taking the bus to The Bronx to take the subway instead of taking the Metro-North. Price difference is so significant. Bus+Subway to Grand Central is only $2.50 whereas Metro-North is $7.50 to Grand Central. I guess you pay more to save some time?
But anyway, Achi decided to take my Sony Alpha 280 out on a date haha, so she and Kiri were the photographers of most of these photos. Some were taken with my iPhone 5.

So here's Achi snapping random photos of us before heading out.

My outfit:
Blouse -- boutique near Mines (Malaysia)
Faux Leather Skirt -- Bugis Street (Singapore)
Socks -- eBay
Oxfords -- H&M
Rings -- Diva
Infinity Necklace -- Push cart in Gurney Paragon (Penang, Malaysia)
Shades -- Bugis Street (Singapore)
Handbag -- Ninewest
Black Coat -- H&M

Achi said this looked like a MV screenshot where Kiri is rapping haha!

Sauces

Momos, basically dumplings lol

Headed to a Himalayan store near the restaurant, Kiri was so excited to find so many home food :P And I found the Ice-fruit-popsicle thing!

After that, we headed to Times Square! :D We missed the last train back to Bronxville so we hung around in the city. We were initially sitting outdoors but it was so cold. like 7 or 8 Celcius. So we went into the  McDonalds nearby and camp in there haha. Until they chased us out -_- Then we went into Walgreens and just burnt time there since it was warm.
They say NYC is the city that never sleeps buttttt there's nothing much to do past midnight -.- All the lights are still on but very few shops/stores/restaurants are open.. Not very nice. Plus we're underage, couldn't go into pubs..

Hey Tisha (if you're reading this), wanted to buy this for you :P

So we had more time to burn , and decided we were going to watch the 7.16am sunrise! We decided to take the Staten Island Ferry over going to Brooklyn Bridge because we were exhausted and cold and we gotta walk a lot if it was Brooklyn Bridge.

Camera couldn't capture a good picture of the Statue of Liberty. Windows were dirty -.-

Sunrise and Brooklyn Bridge (from the ferry)

Sunrise from outside the boat. (See the color difference?? Same camera btw)

So that's about it! Our very first night spent in the city. We arrived back at dorms at like 10am? Crashed immediately haha.

Goodnight! Can't wait for Halloween!
